The Following Fit is Broken, It cannot be pointed / scrammed / tackled by anything when it comes through a stargate. it can dps / point @ 30km avoiding being neuted / tackled and can simply run away from basically every engagement its not winning.
The malediction is the only interceptor capable of doing this, with a minor possibility of the crow being able to do a similiar fit but being very gimped due to its damage bonus being kinetic only. All other interceptors cannot dps at anywhere near this range and are severely gimped achieving this low of a warp align time.
I'd like to take a moment and compare this to the Dramiel of Olde, which you could at least scare into gatecrashing, and it got nerfed, these things run around in packs unregulated and unstoppable.
Here's the fit, anyone feel free to test it, use it, exploit it, and get this things align speed nerfed.

Rebalance the mass / inertia so its inline with other interceptors, maybe give the pilots a reason to fit the ship to use its hull bonus rather than exploit the fact that its impossible to target it before it warps off a gate. |

Says the pilot playing a 1 sided game, interceptor gangs running around for hours on end that aren't worth the time to hunt because they cant be caught.
Guess the best option is to put a hardcap on the interceptor class's align to warp speed so they can be caught with enough scan res.
If people want risk free scouts CCP can introduce T2 shuttles that are interdiction nullified. |
